Brand teams that already govern their assets in Canto can now see the same control reach the printed, packaged, and shipped end of the chain.

Brand teams have spent the last decade getting digital asset management right. Logos, photography, packaging artwork, product imagery: governed centrally, distributed cleanly, version-controlled across every market. The physical end of that chain has not kept pace. Once an approved asset leaves the DAM, the governance often stops. Signage, event kits, product labels, uniforms, onboarding swag, and regional campaign collateral get produced through whichever local supplier each market has on speed dial. Files get re-sent over email. Brand drift creeps in. Central marketing is left with limited visibility into what was actually produced.

Ciloo and Canto are partnering to close that gap.

Ciloo is now a Canto integration partner. Together, the two platforms connect approved digital assets in Canto to local, on-demand production through Ciloo’s worldwide network of verified producers. Brand teams that govern their assets in Canto can extend that same control into the physical world: defined centrally, produced locally, every time.

How the integration works

Canto manages the digital asset layer. Approved logos, photography, product imagery, packaging artwork, and the AI-driven search and metadata that sit around them. Ciloo manages the production and distribution layer. Branded products, packaging, print, and merchandise are produced in the country of use against actual demand, rather than being warehoused centrally and shipped across borders.

Ciloo plugs into the workflow as the production rail on the other side of Canto’s content hub. Brand assets approved in Canto stay locked to the items they appear on. Local teams in different countries can order what they need, in their own language and currency, from a catalogue that does not fall out of sync with the master files in Canto. Central marketing keeps visibility on what is being produced and where, with full spend governance and per-country invoicing built in.

The result is global consistency through local execution: the same architectural truth that runs through everything Ciloo does, now applied one step earlier in the brand stack.

Canto and Ciloo are doing two different jobs in two different layers. Canto governs the brand in software. Ciloo produces and ships the physical products that carry the brand. The integration makes the handoff cleaner so each platform’s work keeps its integrity all the way to the end user.

How it looks in practice

Take a campaign rolling out across 12 markets. Day to day, the workflow looks like this:

  • A central brand team approves a campaign asset in Canto: a packaging file, a piece of signage artwork, an event-kit template.
  • Through the integration, that approved asset is made available for branded production in Ciloo’s catalogue.
  • A local team in any of the markets Ciloo covers orders the physical item they need, in their own language and currency, drawing on the asset that is already locked to the master file in Canto.
  • The order is produced locally by a verified Ciloo producer, delivered in days, and visible to central marketing with full spend governance and per-country invoicing.

One approval at the start. Twelve markets producing on-brand at the end. No re-sending files, no parallel approval chains, no surprises in what got printed.

“Brand teams have invested years in governing the digital side, and Canto is one of the platforms that made that possible. What we kept hearing from global enterprises is that the moment an asset becomes physical, the same level of control disappears. This partnership is about giving them the rest of the chain. Approved in Canto, produced through Ciloo, delivered locally, with brand governance preserved at every step.”

At a glance

For global brand teams using both platforms, the integration changes four things:

  • Brand consistency from approval to production. Every physical item draws from the same approved master file in Canto. No version drift between what is governed digitally and what gets produced.
  • Local production, central visibility. Orders are placed and produced in-country, while central marketing keeps full visibility on what gets produced, where, and at what cost.
  • Per-country invoicing without per-country admin. Multiple cost centres, currencies, and tax requirements handled in a single platform.
  • Less waste, fewer borders. Produced against actual demand rather than warehoused centrally and shipped, with measurable reductions in dead stock and long-haul transport.

In practice

A global medical technology brand is already using both platforms today. Their team manages campaign and product assets in Canto and orders branded materials for events, field activation, and regional rollouts through Ciloo, across the markets where they operate.
